Omosako, Takashi, Takayoshi"Omo"(son), Takahiro(youngest son) & Tomachi ...Omosako Yourijou...Hiroshima...Shiro Utsuri (top breeder of Shiro Utsuri!); few Gosanke. Carries an "old line" of Shiro Utsuri blood. Six Oyagoi(2007)(Musahi, Hakuma, Panda, Hakuba, Houzan, Tatsuma). His shiro utsuri do not get that large; rarely exceed 80 cm. Started as a dealer. Original oyagoi from Sakai of Hiroshima. Will increase Gosanke production when Takahiro completes Dainichi apprenticeship. Takahiro speaks English(apprentice w/ Pan Intercorp for 4 years). Saito, Masaru, Shoshuke(father)& Hiromi(wife), sons(Kensuke & Kosuke)...Shintaro (means new son)...Mushigame...Minaminigoro, Niigata...Trained with Konishi KF & T. Sakai(3 yrs); Matsunosuke parents- late developing finish. (Speaks some English) 2 parent koi Showa, 5 parent koi Sanke, 1 parent koi Kohaku and some Shiro. Lives on the same street as Yamamatsu. Shosuke began the business in 1955. Masaru started to learn the business at Konishi Koi Farm in Hiroshima and later, Toshio Sakai. Marusada was also one of his teachers. U. but is discontinuing production), Kujaku, Yamabuki, Shusui, Ai Goromo, Kumonryu. 90 mud ponds. In the early days, Hiroji Sakai, used Dainichi kohaku stock. He found that these parent koi produced offspring which achieved good quality, but peaked as young as three years old when grown using Sakai's methods. So, the elder Sakai switched to Sensuke (pronounced Senske) bloodline.This change produced the results Hiroji Sakai was after. He produced two prolific breeders, Sakura and Donguri. Sakura produced both Fujiko and Rose, parent koi of two of Sakai's best lines.The Rose line produces koi that fill out in girth faster, and which have a persimmon colored beni. The Fujiko line grow in length first, and the beni comes out deep, black red. GC at AJS in '00(sanke), '01(kohaku), '03(kohaku), '06(kohaku). KHV confirmed in 2008.

Sells most of his Tosai and Nissai. 15 mud ponds in Niigata, 24 in Yamanashi, 16 concrete ponds. Showa from Dainichi & Kobayashi(5 pr + 1 pr GR.). Sanke from Sadazo & Matsunosuke(3 pr.). Wakabayashi....Hiroshima...Kohaku- 2 sets: Sensuke(fem), Dainichi(male) & Oshita(Tomoin)(fem), Dainichi(male); Sanke- Sadazo; Showa- Dainichi, Kobayashi & Takeda. (doesn't advertise)

Watanabe, Kazumi...Jinbei Yorijo...Budokubo- south of Nagaoka....Niigata...Sanke(heavy, square, lacquer black sumi), Kujaku. Nearly out of business. Location next to Chogorou. Bonsai collector. Breeding for 70+ years.

Yamaguchi, Masanori, Hiroie(dad) & Leharu. Founded in 1959.; 2nd generation...Uonuma ("number one") Nishikigoi Koide...Showa. Has produced a $100,000 fish. Used Dianichi- Kato Showa as male parent and Yagobei female parent. "au lait" variety. Kept the late Ryo Kamiya's champion Murata kohaku for several years.
