I had to reinstall my browser (Safari) and now the forum displays like the pic below - can't figure out how to fix it!

OK - can't even post a picture ... the forum is just a list, everything seems to be here, but it displays as a list of everything on the left side of the page.

After posting this, it displayed as usual, but when I go back to the forum, it is back to the weird display.

I'm using Safari right now on my computer and the display is normal. The display on my iPhone is a whole other story - all I get on it is the individual forums listed in plain type on the left-hand side of the screen; no opportunity to "View New Content" no artwork or sponsor ads, no idea which forums have any new topics.

for some reason sarah, it appears that your safari is picking up the lo-fi version, the one that is meant for cell phones, pdas, etc...

i am not aware of any compatibility issues with safari, so could be a setting within safari ??...

but, let me check again how compatible safari is with IPB...

and what url are you using sarah?

and lynda, i can browse koishack using both modes with my phone, via desktop and mobile.....

the two modes are different and this software allows for both and detects which setting your pda/phone is on and displays the forum accordingly.....

the mobile version is made to load faster and navigate quicker......the desktop is slower, but looks just like it would on you computer...

the mobile version kinda looks like what sarah is getting..

anyone else using safari?

Hi Dale - thanks - the lo/hi fi makes sense - and since it switches back and forth without reason I can see its confused. But I can't see how to configure Safari at all - I bet it has something to do with cookies, since it worked fine under my old Safari ... anyway, I'm using http://www.koishack....orums/index.php

and Safari 4.0 (and I know this version has issues)

I'll keep monkeying with it as well ...

When I delete my cookies (with link at the bottom) it reverts to the hi fi version. Once I get to the thread posts itself, it switches to lo fi. Weird.
